Observadores: Carlos Martínez y Juan Grados
Localidad : Igualada
Coord. Longitud al E. De G. = 1º 36' 37,24 "
Latitud Norte = 41º 35' 13,53"
Altura = 352 m.
Equipo : -Telescopio catadióptrico C-8 de 200 mm.abertura con reductor focal 6,3, al que se acopló
una cámara Canon Eos 450D a foco primario, montado sobre montura Polaris motorizada.
Condiciones atmosféricas : Días 21/07 y 22/07, buenas. Día 23/07, Nubes y bastantes neblinas.

Del total de fotografías efectuadas se han seleccionado 19 que se remiten junto con este parte.
Comentario
Hemos podido observar estos días un cometa importante con un brillo superior al previsto después de pasar
el perihelio.
Se ha observado varios días al principio por las mañanas y posteriormente por las tardes, desde la montaña
cercana a Igualada de la Tossa de Montbui, con teleobjetivo y con el telescopio C-90, pero no ha sido hasta
estos días que se ha podido fotografiar con el C 8, desde el balcón de mi casa, con toda comodidad.
Claro está que los mejores días para observarlo fueron durante la primera quincena de Julio.
Se ha notado una importante bajada de luminosidad el día 22 y 23 incluso hasta el 25 que ya no se fotografió,
respecto al día 21, tal como era previsible.
En fin hemos disfrutado de la visión de un cometa inesperado, que nos ha recordado a los importantes cometas
Yakutake y Hale Bopp de 1996 y 1997 que tuvimos la suerte de observar.
